Endodontics focuses on the inner structure of the tooth including what is known as ‘dental pulp’, and the tissues surrounding the tooth roots.

The most frequently performed endodontic procedure – and the one patients are most likely to undergo – is root canal treatment. During this procedure, we address infection of the dental pulp that has typically developed as a result of bacteria penetrating the pulp through a cavity or a deep filling.
